Accounts sold with their TID are safer and more secure than others. This is because if the seller of the account decides to scam and take it back, you will have the TID and be able to contact Mojang about it and gain ownership again. TIDs also assure the buyer that the account they are getting has not been cracked, making it a safer purchase as well.

So I buy an account with the transaction I'd, how would I know if it's a fake id?

Dunno, try contacting Mojang with their support thing. Then just ask if your Transaction ID is still valid.. Hopefully they'll respond with something reasonable.

this is the stupidest post ever
'so if the seller decides to scam, you can gain ownership again'
he has the tid too lol
owning the tid is worse than not having the tid
True, since Mojang doesn't even know who the actual owner is then unless the person who OWNS the TID provides Mojang what email he/she used to buy the account. =)

No, accounts with TIDs are generally worth more. You can look around and compare prices. As long as you're not buying from a shady seller, having the TID is a good thing.

TID (Transaction ID) is the ID that is provided when you buy a Minecraft account. This is mainly a proof of ownership code as well as used in support for account recovery. An account with a TID is worth more, due to the fact that you have the "Proof of ownership" while an account without it the original owner could contact support and easily to get the account back, this means if you do not have the TID, you have a risk of loosing an account. Hope this helps.
