My opinion on why they are so retarded
Pre-Introduction
Alright, I'll just start off with what I'm doing. I've decided to take my precious time and effort into trash-talking services out there. Pretty sad if I have nothing else to do actually other than to trash talk things on MCM...
Anyways, you get the picture. I'm just going to explain and elaborate on why these things on MCM are retarded.
Introduction
There are many services out there that offer different types of setups. We have setup services for Minecraft Servers, Discord Servers, Plugin Configurations, ETC. One of the dumbest setups I have ever heard was Discord Servers. I would have no problems if these services were obviously free since they literally take little to no effort in creating these servers.
However...
There are a ton of services out there that require a cost to setup a Discord server. I'll admit, I am a lazy guy. Setting up a Discord server may be a pain, however, it literally takes around an hour or 2 to complete if you are really dedicated to making a fancy Discord server. If you want a simple Discord server, would literally take at least 10-30 minutes into completion.
Package Prices
As usual, every setup service has their own "packages" that you can choose from. Wait a second, why is there packages to setup a Discord server? Oh wait a second, it's just a scam to reel in more money from yer wallet.
Take an example with this service. Why should I pay $1 for a Discord Server that isn't really even setup? [Reference Link] Let's be real here, a point of a setup is for something to be fully constructed and ready to go. Not something that is half-completed.
This one is more hilarious. Not only can I get setups, I can get addons. [Reference Link] Basically I can ask for emoji's on my channels or roles. Heres a sweet tip to save you that quarter, go onto this website and then you highlight on an emoji, Ctrl+C and then Ctrl+V onto your Discord server. There you go, a quarter has been saved! This guy also has priority levels you can pay for. I mean, since they are professional, these setups should at least take 30 minutes for them to setup. This isn't rocket science, these are Discord server setups. The last funny addon he has is chat-moderation for $3 a week. Really? I can literally get anyone to chat-moderate my Discord Server for free. Yet alone, get a BOT for free.

Another thing with these services is that they even offer it for free if it's nothing major. Let's be honest, all these services are nothing major. [Reference Link] Come on, just do it for free. There is nothing major setting up a Discord Server.
Limitations
Alright, after looking through all those terrible packages, it seems that they all follow a pattern. Limited roles, bots, channels. This is another way they can try and profit off of dumb users.
There are free bots out there that can enhance and improve your Discord server. Music bots, moderation bots, essential bots, all of them can be found online through the Discord Bots website. Some of these bots options can be configured online, making it more easy. They also provide a small little guide on how to setup these bots. I don't think I need to pay an extra $1 to setup a simple bot that anyone can do.
Why are my roles limited? They literally take 30 seconds to create. There aren't many permissions to configure out of them. Most Discord servers have ridiculous amounts of roles made and it literally takes them seconds to create.
Finally, channels. When I want to setup my Discord server, I don't want to have "limited channels." If I want THIS many channels, you make THAT many channels on my Discord. It takes ONE second to create a channel. How hard is it to name a channel and then press the button, "create?"
Scam
This is basically a scam. It's so obvious that these services are scams if they want money out of it. From non-fully made services for $1 to emoji addons for $0.25, we can assume that these services are bullshit. Either make one yourself or get someone who is willing to do it for free.
Their packages are a way to gain more money out of simple tasks they can do. This is why they are limiting roles, channels, and bots. They know that they can setup their services any way they want. Other people will follow their practices and setup their own service like theirs. Capitalism is great, however, these practices are trash.
Get some setups from actual people that WILL do it for free.

Also, these aren't sponsored or anything. I literally just grabbed some threads who are offering to do it for free. There are a ton of them out there that will do it for free.
However, the most logical thing to do is to make it yourself.
Conclusion
Screw paid services for a Discord setup. They are an indirect scam that will take your money over something simple. Either get someone for free or do it yourself. I know that $1 isn't that much, however, they profit out of it. They deserve no profit at all for something simple like this.
