Honestly, I feel as if this is a bit of a Pay-2-Win move, trashing threads should not be a supreme-only thing.

If I could tell you the amount of times I have been premium and I was annoyed because I could not trash my thread.

I feel that it should be a normal thing, and everyone should be able to trash their threads.

{EDIT} <- Upon further notice, I believe maybe it should be a thing of when you pay for ANYTHING on MCM it lets you trash your tread, I am still not sure though. Mick

21217 That is not what I am saying, I am not saying for normal members to have ALL privellages that Supreme or Premium members do. I just believe that deleting threads should not be a supreme only privilege.[DOUBLEPOST=1484148812][/DOUBLEPOST]remibarna 'Pay2Win', I am using those words to explain what this is. It is a thing that should REALLY NOT be a thing in which only Supreme members should be able to do.

You get the point, it is just something that I, personally, got angry about since I could not delete my past threads (when I was premium of course).

Thanks,

you can report a thread if you do not wish to have it up any longer. You can almost mark MOST threads completed and it will lock the thread-this will usually be enough of an indicator that the service is "done" or completed. If it's not, you can always reply to the thread and say "this service is no longer being offered", then lock it.

remibarna Maybe, my company has been sold?
Or something like that, I disbanded the company?
I need to delete my thread, and what if I was only Premium.

The main argument here is being able to report a thread to get it removed if you can't do it. Most other suggestions are about lowering the load on moderators. Why is this not the case here? I don't see why you are encouraging reporting for a thing a user can do alone.

(I am in support of this idea - "you" = the people recommending reports)

Being able to trash threads is a useful time saving thing and a nice reward to those who get supreme, normal users and premium can simply mark the thread as complete or request it to be deleted. I don't see the issue, not pay to win as anyone can achieve the same result. Just takes a little bit longer to do.

One thing I haven't seen anything about: So what if it's pay2win? this isn't minecraft itself, it's not forbidden to be pay2win.
In case you missed it, if you pay for an advertisement and that results in you getting more sales/clients, THAT'S definitely pay2win. You pay, then your sales increase because you're higher up for far longer than someone who doesn't pay.
Yet I'm not hearing anyone complain about that. I wonder why...

Oh wait, that's because a website like this being 'pay2win' is not a problem.

and what exactly is "pay2win" about being able to thrash threads? Do you make such terrible threads that you are diminished if you cannot delete them?
As far as I know, everyone has access to marking a thread "complete". Last I checked, that locks threads in most marketplaces.
Apart from that, you can still have them locked and/or deleted through reports. It just takes longer.
Ivain summed the situation up pretty well.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
