trust is subjective to everyone, however easiest way to determine trust is the number next to reputation. example you have 0 reputation, therefore unfortunately nobody would trust you, aswell as the fact you have three messages and joined the start of this year. Trust imo is based on these three factors, however a majority only take time been on MCM and rep into consideration.
I can go around telling you who I trust and who I dont e.g.However I might miss out a potential buyer and that wouldn't be very good. So I will explain how to find a trusted cape buyer. Usually first thing is to check their rep? How much do they have? If they have like 30~ rep then click on their reputation and view the reps. When you look at the reps, take into consideration how much value is each rep worth? If someone has 15 rep with deals worth 70$ each is better than someone with 30 rep who's only done 5-10$ transactions. Next thing to do is ask owner about owner history and details of the account. Next, ask the owner about the 1. 'Owner History' (extremely important in cape accs as you cant transfer cape accs unlike ogs) 2. wheres the TID and OGE (transaction id, og email, both used to recover account incase its hacked) and how long they have had it for. Last step is to ALWAYS use an mm, example nfdegreu3i23r22r or User (free mm services, thats why I like them) but you can find tonnes more in the Middleman section who usually charge a 5% fee. ALWAYS use an mm unless the person has atleast 80 rep (I have 18 ). Never do deals over discord, and if you do, ask them to confirm onsite.
TLDR: Trust is based on rep and time, please just check those and also check the backround of the account, and read the two articles above.

Thank you for your detailed message and advice. When it comes to buying cape accounts I'm very scared of getting scammed because it's so much money. This is not my main account which is HettikMPL, but this one has access to the cape section which is why I'm using this one to look for capes. I did look around on the cape section but since there are many scammers out there I'm not sure if I should buy one off the cape section. I was hoping that I could buy one off of asa or Kelsey but they're out of stock :/
Bruh make a support ticket immediately and delete your HekkitMPL account as you can’t make more than 1 account on MCM, otherwise staff might ban this account. Go on support and make a ticket saying you accidentally made two accounts.
By the way cape scams are extremely common, be careful out there.
