Im trying to learn python but I feel like theres some stuff that I should know before I start to learn it, should I try to learn java first or go straight to python or is there anything else I should learn?
If you want to learn python, then learn python first. Python is a great language for beginners. In fact, Python should be the first language you should learn if you are new to coding because it is the easiest and you don't have to memorize complex syntax.
Well, to be honest, it depends upon your requirements. If you want to get into A.I development, I wouldn't recommend Java but if you want to do any sort of coding related to minecraft, Java is your best friend.
Personally as a beginner, I had started with neither of the above, I learnt Javascript first. Javascript is easier than both Python and Java. Also, once you get familiar with JS, learning Java and Python is a breeze.
To sum up, you should choose the programming language you want to learn upon your requirements. Either way, I personally think Javascript is the first language your should learn.
(P.S definitely do not go for C or C++ )
