Discord, better UI, its free, easier to use, more people have it, far better chat system as well as voice. TeamSpeak is getting a bit old, and unless they bring out a huge TS4 update. Its not going to be better than discord anytime soon.

Maybe once, but not so much now. Discord has been gaining alot of popularity these last few months. A lot of MC servers have started using discord group chats, and because of that they drop TS completly. Since they use Discords built in voice chat. Alot still have TS installed, but less are installing it now. Its slowly declining.

110% Discord, it has chat rooms and permissions that are highly customizeable, it's free, has a much better security system to prevent trollers and such, a lot of cool plugins, much easier to setup, cleaner IMO, easier to use, list goes on and on... also has very nice IP protection.

My personal preference is TeamSpeak, though for my server I use both platforms. If you're just starting out, I'd use Discord; as It's easier to setup and free to use, whereas TeamSpeak is a little more complicated and costs money unless you use a website who deal free ones. Which I wouldn't recommend.

Friends forced me to try out discord, I gotta admit it is soooo much better. People have already listed all the reasons.
