In this "guide", I will tell you all a few ways to avoid being scammed.
1 | Make sure to ALWAYS do background research on the specific item & or user you are buying from. (Check reputation and for past scam reports)
2 | Try to avoid new users that will not use a middle-man or go first.
3 | Try to avoid extremely toxic/obnoxious users.
4 | ALWAYS confirm somebody's identity on the website.
5 | If you are not comfortable with going first, and they also are not comfortable, simply use a trusted middle-man you both agree on.
6 | Send payments with G&S, rather than F&F.
7 | If they have a name like "Memer92472", are a new user and don't even have a profile picture, I wouldn't advise dealing with them unless they go first / agree to a middle-man.
8 | Check for invisible characters in the users discord/other communication services.
