Hello guys!
SSoooooo. I saw many people in the scam report section that cannot do anything to win because they have no proof or they have proof that barely show something and I saw people that was just crying that paypal is "shit" and "unfair" because they lost a chargeback
So I thought that I will just post a tutorial here on how to get the best proof to win a chargeback / scam report.
Buyers:
When ever you buy something, make sure that you and the seller are both agree on the same thing, miss understandments may cause to "unwanted situations".
If the seller is a scammer, he will do everything for you to not be able to get the money back, and, to hide any proof of him agrees to the same thing as you do.
to prevent that, first of all, make sure that you and the seller are both agree on the same thing.
how? simple! at the end of the agreement, just write a whole "lore" of the agreement. for example , if you buy a 100x100 custom factions spawn for $40, write the following message (for example): "$40 for 100x100 factions spawn, detailed, modern, until the date 8/10/2016 will be sent as a schematic, NOT through f&f, from (mcm user): 'name', to (mcm user) 'name'. seller email: [email protected] please confirm that"
Make sure to not edit the message, the seller can use it as an excuse that you changed the message after he agreed to it, and added stuff that he didnt agree to.
When the seller say "I agree" or something like that, take a screenshot immediately!
When you send the payment, ask from the seller to confirm that he recived the payment, When he say "I recived the payment" or something like that, take a screenshot immediately!
If he says that he did not recive the payment, try to find out why.
Sometimes paypal asks from you to resend or recheck the payment.
(Wait a few minutes so the transaction will be updated in his wallet).
If he stil didnt recive the payment, check if you sent the payment to the same email adress that the seller provided.
If you did send it to the same adress, waited a few minuted, and he keeps telling you that he did not recive the payment, he probably lies.
But no worries! You have enough proof!
Make sure to take a screenshot of his email adress when he sends it.
He can edit the message and tell you that you wrote the email wrong.
Thats why I added this part in the "lore"
Make sure to not send as f&f to low rep users or if you go first, so you can chargeback if you got scammed.
Sellers:
When ever you sell something, make sure to NOT got first.
Why? bcz of the fact that you cannot chargeback an item, but the buyer can easily chargeback a payment. if the buyer resists to go first, use a middleman, but not just a member, use someone who has high rep and a lot of vouches. even though he can scam too, but The chances of this happening are almost none. (if it does, I am NOT responsible for it). make sure to show the buyer the TOS on skype. ask from him to agree to the TOS, when he agrees, take a screenshot immediately!
If the seller doesnt agree to your TOS, ask from him to note the stuff that he doesnt agree to and try to change them as long as it keeps your own security.
Stuff like : "I may cancel the transaction at anytime without issuing a refund" are not acceptable, and you need to change it / remove it. if he asks from you to change / remove stuff like: "you are not allowed to chargeback" or "you may not ask for a refund", its obviously a scam.
Hope I helped to everyone, thanks for reading!
