Hello everyone,

We all know two-step verification increases account security. With an external app, a one-time code gets generated that is linked to your account.

I've heard some people had some problems with this. Two-step verification always works if you know what to do.
Even though its easy and straightforward for many of us, a written tutorial on the two-step verification page you get redirected to each month or when you log in from a new location can be usefull for some people.
It would be bad if Mcm has less (active) members because they are struggling with the two- step verification.

Kind regards,
The Golden Apple

Hey there TheGoldenApple,

Considering that it is straightforward and/or easy, in my opinion, I wouldn't see this necessary as it informs you that an email has been sent to your account email address with a single-use code. I know that we all know this, but with just that one message, it seems like that'd be enough information. Perhaps someone could write a member tutorial on the forum to help those who get confused rather than making something such as that. And yes - it may be useful, but then again, we do have our own opinion on different things.

Overall, great suggestion. But that's just my opinion on it. I do, however, respect the staff members, yours and the rest of the community's opinion on things as well.

Best wishes,

If someone writes a wiki post about this, I'll make it noticeable on the 2FA page.
