I don't think this will be the 2016 cape as it's just simply too plain.. I'll bet that the 2016 cape will be a Shulker face on a purple cape or something similar.

When NameMc released the update for grouping accounts with capes. The cape in question was marked unidentifiable and placed in that category. It was on a Mojang employee and was removed shortly after discovering it.

OG made a group message with Style Doge Devon and I (and 1 or 2 others) with this theory, if this is the mojang cape then be ready to roast, but I've heard that it's an enderman.
