Unique Server Idea *Read Now*

Hey, I’m 1EyedBunny, an experienced staff manager and I have had an idea for a new server, and would live to have a partner, to work alongside me on this project.

Now my idea:

I recently came across an app called 'Minechat’, many of you may of heard of it, or even used it, but basically it is an app which allows you to join a server and talk on the server, without having to be there. Now at first the idea confused me, why on earth would you simply want to talk to people, how fun is that? But then I started to understand, Minecraft is a generally safe environment, where you meet people similar to you, and often just get to know them. I started using Minechat a bit, but found it quite hard, talking to a bunch of people saying mobs, whilst I was probably stuck in a server spawn.. then I had the idea.. a server simply for chatting, where minecrafters can meet others like them, where people have text based challenges, and compete to solve puzzles and work out riddles. Now the idea probably seems quite complex, but it's basically simple.


I need someone to work with me in creating this server. I will happily fund the main server but I need someone to pay for advertising, and to basically be my co worker. We can work out money, but I'm not bothered about that, and simply want to see the idea unfold.


Requirements:


Is Aged 13+

Has Discord

Is Mature

Has a method of paying for the server, and a PayPal for donations.

It's quite a unique idea I have to admit. But from a financial aspect it would be quite hard to maintain. Who would donate just to chat with others? Doesn't Skype or Discord etc. do that already? There are a lot of negatives outweighing the meagre positives.

Again it is an imteresting idea, however for any smart server owner it won't be feasible for them at all.

Yeh. I see that, but there will will be chat rooms for donators, and more. But what makes it different from discord etc, is the fact you are forced to talk, you are either talking or not and there will be a lot of chat riddles and missions.

Not entirely sure whats so unique about the idea. Whats stopping someone from setting up with free Discord server with several rooms (inc donation rank only) and have bots installed to have rp, puzles etc. My point is that its not unique, as its being done.
