Just some seconds ago I wanted to add something to my suggestion but I can't because of the edit time limitation.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

wait there's a time limitation to editing in this section? I'm very curious as to the reason. for Pm's it makes sense, but for this?[DOUBLEPOST=1465729502][/DOUBLEPOST]wait I think I know why. It's so that you can't edit your suggestion to say something else after a bunch of people have agreed with it.

I've been led to believe not every single mod can see the edit logs. However, why check the edit logs and check the timestamps of the agrees (which I'm not sure they have easy access to) against the date of change? Why do that when they can prevent the whole shenanigans simply by limiting the edit time. It's only a minor inconvenience to you, and it saves then a boatload of time.

If you want to add stuff to your suggestions, simply post a "reserved' post underneath the initial one.

But then you can't edit that "reserved" post too...

oh, it works for all posts? well, then I guess that means you have to think through your posts a bit better.
It's a core feature of xenforo so yes. It's for all posts...

It's specific to section and depends from thread to reply.

The reason for it not being able to edit threads in the suggestion section is since people used to completely change the thing they are suggestion to get a bunch of agrees.
Sure, we can see the logs but members can't and they tend to hop on the train sometime.

Thread archived.
