"Unmigrated Accounts" and Phished Accounts

I've been seeing a lot of people buying semi OGs or even OGs that have been sniped using a phished or "unmigrated account." Just a heads up, do not use a phished account. These types of accounts were either cracked, and are probably insecure and will most likely get taken back by the original owner. Doge even said that you're not allowed to use them for semi ogs. If you want to snipe a name, DO NOT use phished/unmigrated accounts for this. I suggest you use an account that is bought off minecraft.net.

To sum it all up, I don't know much around here but, I'm pretty sure you can receive a ban if you use these types of accounts for your Semi OG/OG Accounts or other types of special accounts.

How can I avoid this?

• If your account hasn't been "locked" after a month since migration, chances are you have successfully avoided the system. This can easily be done by using unique IPs for each migration. To check when an account was migrated/purchased, see the Mojang.com profile page. Ask the seller for the date before buying if needed.

• Don't use unmigrated accounts. If you're going to get a nice OG name to sell, consider buying an account that comes with the Transaction ID from a reputable member, buy a giftcode, or for most security; buy from minecraft.net.

• If your account came on a Mojang account when you originally purchased it from minecraft.net, you're safe.

jkjk I use them also, tbh if ur only selling accounts worth 10> its not worth it to get TID accounts. and if u loose it oh well, not the end of the world.

It's getting really annoying now honestly. I just got another scam report on a phished account user and have had around 5 opened in the past week or so.

I always wonder why people don't just use an account they bought themselves for a snipe on an OG that's gonna be worth $100+. I get it, you want to maximize your profit, but there's something like being safe, yk? If you buy it yourself there's 0% chance of it getting locked and 0.001% of it getting stolen.

Because it's harder to plan that than you think. OG names randomly become available, at random times. Users can't typically expect when a name they like will be up for snipes. This also means buying 1 to 2 accounts to be used for snipers, then actually hoping you can book the snipes. Then you actually have to win them.

Though it isn't right, I do see why people sell these phished accounts. It's quick, cheap, and gets them way more money than they really had to spend to get the account.
