If you go to the shoutbox and click on every single emoji:
As you can see, some are surrounded with : and some are just plain text (eg. Ka.ppa).
Not a major or urgent bug but it is a bit unorganized and can be sometimes annoying when trying to type out the emoji name rather than clicking it on the menu.
Countless times I've seen people trying to use the Kapp.a emoji and tries typing :Ka.ppa: which displays :
: (including the ":" symbol).
And vice-versa if someone tries to do the thinking emoji and does it without the : because they think that's how emojies work now, it will just appear as plain text "thinking".
