Up thread

The up thread button is a great way for sellers to get more attention to a product they sell. However this system sounds great its sometimes not. I am a Semi-OG seller and sometimes have to bare with more than 20 accounts that get upped by a person. It completely it ruins if you want to sell an account and a person like SMKM gets the whole first page full of all of his accounts. I think that should be limited. I suggest around 5-6 Up threads a day. This would help other sellers get attention while they dont have to worry about getting off the front page instantly by a person like SMKM. And yes sure SMKM has to make his money too but with my suggestion other people can get a better progress on the site and sell more stuff. Just to mention a while ago Chearful upped so much threads 2 and a half pages where full of it. This is not what we want in this community in my opinion.

The add-on already seems to have the functionality for this to be added. Just a matter of setting it to something other than unlimited:

So you're limiting people to promote their stuff on the market? The UP feature is there to stop bump posts and to bump your thread to the top. You can do the same. Limiting the feature just cause one section and current moment of situation is wrong.

Uping only 6 threads a day would mean that most of your accounts would only be seen once a week. There’s a few solutions to your problems:
1. Wait until Smkm or chearful up their threads and up after them.
2. Buy a sticky thread.
This would be completely useless considering there’s so many solutions to it.

I always just wait until the people that up a lot of threads up their threads. This happens in a lot of sections although it does seem to be worse in the section you're complaining about.

instead of 5 or 6 total it should be per section tbh. Otherwise people selling products in lots of different sections will have a problem.
In particular, I'd say it should be accounts-only, since afaik it's not practical or even possible to have a multi-product thread in MC accounts.

You can only bump 6 threads if you have that much stock to offer the community.
Being able to up each of those products the exact amount of time seems perfectly balanced to me.
What difference does it make who the author is? Would you be making this thread if the six accounts that get bumped above yours were each authored under a different member?
