Upcoming Thread Forum

Hello MCM,

I was thinking of having a forum dedicated to future threads that will be posted by the community. This serves as a prehype measure and allows them to get their ideology and thoughts out there on a thread as a "trailer," so to speak for the real thread.

Example:

User wants to list a Faction server. He is waiting for the files to upload, waiting for a host, whatever the case may be, he can write a Upcoming thread post that states what he will be doing, get opinions from the community and overall get an idea if anyone is interested in his idea. That way he knows what to expect when he posts the real thread.

Just a thought, comment your thoughts on this topic.

Well, some people are currently doing this. They just mention that it's for a upcoming servers. I don't want to say I disagree, I just don't think it's a good idea.

See my idea is like for selling servers, shops, and other things. Maybe another example is a user has a graphics shop, however their thread design isn't to their standards yet they want to get some of their work, prices and contact info out there so they can get some incoming customers. Sure, they could just edit the thread later, but it looks more professional if it would be in a "Upcoming Thread Section," vs " Design / Graphics," unfinished.

Seems 'eh, I mean your first suggestion was awful but most people mention that their service thread is coming soon in the shoutbox anyway
