Currently, if you click on the "View" button next to a warning it just shows the already showing details about it in another box. It would be more useful if it would show other stuff in regards to the warning such as the proof behind the warning/staff member who issued it etc.

Usually, staff members will provide evidence for the warning in the PM, especially if requested. It would probably be quite useful if a link to that PM was somehow pasted into the warning info- then, if people had questions, they’d easily be able to directly ask whoever issued the warning.
I would assume it wouldn’t be too difficult to add something like this, and would probably be useful for users, especially on older warnings.

Idk about you however when ever I have had a warning staff have made it perfectly clear why I got the warning at the time, so there really isnt any need I don't think.

You'r telling me you don't know why you got the warning and if you don't remember whys it took so long to question it ?

Yes, for some other warnings I literally don't know what I did wrong and got them, doesn't matter if it says which rule I broke, having actual proof attached would be really useful. Either way, this suggestion isn't for just displaying proof but generally displaying something else that's not already being displayed because right now the view button is useless.

So why did you not question it like, "What did I post that violated x rule?" and/or "Can I see what I said that violated x rule?"
Because it came out with different words at that time?

I was a little bit tired and had no idea what you were trying to say.
Did you mean that you did ask what you did to violate x rule/evidence of you violating x rule but in different words?
Yes, pretty much.

The more transparency the better. This feature could remind users what exactly they did or said to break a rule and ensure that they won't make the same mistake again.

As others have said, proof is always provided in the warning conversation that you are sent and an explanation of which particular rule you broke by posting that content. While I can see the utility of adding a link to the warning conversation on the view warning page, that would require custom development which we aren't going to do until our migration to XF2.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion
