So when I play a song on a video, called "Carry On" by xxx. They say it is blocked worldwide. However, other people have uploaded the same exact song before. HELP ME!

Sometimes people play covers of the song. If you play someone that is considered big, their songs are usually blocked. Some bigger YouTube’s that use the song may have permission from the owner of the song before it.

You need to start a copyright dispute, select the reason why, and then make your claim. These are companies you're dealing with so try to be professional or at least easy to understand. That's because under the law and tos crediting doesn't mean anything. Read what's on the screen afterwards and you wouldn't be confused.

The reason it says they won't give you anything to message is because giving credit doesn't give you authorization.

I did, once I wait 30 days and they don’t respond could I use the video? It’s still blocked
