Does anyone know how to connect a graphic card to your monitor??

I have it so the HDMI + whatever that other thing is attached to the GPU, which is attached to my monitor.

What am I doing wrong?

Plug the white DVI-D cable into the corresponding slot in the monitor.

You only need one of the cables connected to the monitor

the HDMI? or the other one with the two screws[DOUBLEPOST=1515709602][/DOUBLEPOST]
Plug the white DVI-D cable into the corresponding slot in the monitor.
What do you mean?

The DVI-D cable is connected to the GPU and monitor

Along with the HDMI is connected to the GPU and Monitor

Try changing the monitor to HDMI and connecting it via HDMI instead.

Could it be because both are plugged in? Or does that not matter

Both being plugged in shouldnt be an issue, are you certain you have plugged the cables in correctly maybe try switching the wire around so the ends are going in the other way. If that doesnt work I am fully stumped. It works fine for most people.

I mean the same monitor can be used as a dual monitor where you would click to change the source of the monitor to switch to a different screen.

I had something like this problem like a week ago trying to sell my PC to my friend.

we had it plugged in but it wouldnt show on the screen.

All we did was unplug Ram > Plug it back in and it worked.

(We had the cables right tho)
