URL ID

When you click on peoples profiles the url is usually something along the lines of https://www.mc-market.org/members/62927/

What if that namber (identifies the user) could be changed as a custom url id option for say premium+ members (or for everyone). This makes it much easier to navigate to peoples profiles by their mcm names e.g:

https://www.mc-market.org/members/scare/

This would be a cool and convenient addition.

My apologies if this suggestion has already been made.

Add a "?username=<username>" and there you go.

The method you suggested wouldn't work because there are users with numerical names which don't align with their user ID.
We'd have to use one method of linking profiles or the other, and considering names change, the user ID is the only option, I'm afraid.

Sill though couldnt you save the ID as a float so integers will work

I feel like this’d turn the profile ID system into a glitchy mess and not be used much.

How would it be a glitchy mess? so many other forums have done it with a breeze its literally just making it a float and some other changes

Keeping it just user numbers is the most simple way to do user accounts, or you could use the link that Justis suggested.
