You might get a hosting that has nodes in Washington or New York, that's the best location if you want the lowest ping from Philippines

Interesting, that's not part of the west coast afaik. Wouldn’t the west coast be better since it’s “nearer” Asia?

To be honest, those locations are from the few cheap hosting. You can find New York location in SparkedHost and Washington from YouCraft (Now closed but this was totally the best since my ping didn't reach 200+). But I doubt that Youcraft is hosting in Washington since the ping was most likely from australia.
