A while I released this thread https://www.mc-market.org/threads/547746/ to survey users out of curiosity in response to https://www.mc-market.org/threads/547572/, and to eventually create a direct alternative to his proposal, to serve the same purpose with a fleshed out method.
This alternative has a better way to remain transparent in terms of its method while disguising biases, so people can be sure that it's fairly accurate and secure.
The method I proposed is a little bit abstract and complicated, but I was able to get a working implementation in C# alongside creating the method itself.
If you want to read, here you go: https://sevr.org/i/afc127e1-a6ff-4c82-a07a-5983987a200e.pdf.
If you want an open implementation of the method, feel free to make it yourself (credit me w/ my method - even after modification). I won't be releasing the raw results of the original survey itself so you won't be able to use that data. There are pitfalls, but everything is discussed in the document itself.
Enjoy.
