User Upgrades [Staff locked the other with no reason]

Since I too don't like to spend money if it isn't necessary, I decided to prove myself wrong that user upgrades(like $15 from premium to supreme) couldn't happen as staff have claimed in the past.

Therefore, I tested the theory on another Xenforo license someone gave me and it turns out.... There is. Took me a few minutes to do it too, using the same add-on they use. The only reason they haven't done it is because money would be lost. I believe the community has a right to know they have been scammed for a while now and overpaying for ranks. What do you think about this?

Edit: Staff always want a solution and not just criticism. I believe if Mick refunded all users that donated both ranks in the amount of $10USD, this situation would be solved.

Second Edit: Allow users with premium ranks and Supreme to sell premium for a lower price.

Not that many people donated for both ranks. I would say maybe $200 max. I could be wrong.

I like the general idea of this, but do not support that Mick would repay $10 to everyone who bought it.
The refund part is pretty much 100% not going to happen, as he would have to refund payments even made when Verringer was Owner and in general would cost him thousands.

But a lot of people bought Supreme, lowering the price would mean ALL customers to be refunded

Considering this thread was created and already 3 people (including have donated for more) I'm pretty sure it's more than $200.

Many people who also bought this during the black friday sale would also have gotten a discount and therefor does not deserve a full $10. It would be big hassle to figure out and do, I truely don't see a refund ever happening.

No? lol. He is saying people who are premium shouldn't have to pay $25 for supreme.

In the system it shows users that bought premium and then supreme, or vice versa. You shouldn't have been able to buy a lower rank once you get the highest. But, that's obviously in the past.

OR people should be able to sell their ranks to others then? Like 7.50 or $5. Just to make their money back. Admins would then transfer the rank over.

I'm not sure how many members have supreme + premium but I seriously doubt it's more than a hundred.

If not for the refunding, then maybe we should be able to sell our ranks for half off to make our money back.

Here's a new suggestion! Staff must always post a reason for a thread to be locked.

As for the idea, it would be a nice thing to have but there will be people who are pissed because they had to pay more for supreme.

Unless you're rich like Nine and Aschorren, no one would pay 10usd for a tag on the site. I bought supreme for shoutbox,editing posts/messages, no ads, and trashing threads. Idc about anything else. I bought premium because mick broke supreme a while back and you needed premium to do things. YET, I was never refunded after he fixed it. Not sure about everything else.

I think our current stance on this is clear. It's currently not a viable option to tinker with the rank prices, as potentially thousands of users could then begin requesting refunds. And even though the Terms of Service are with us if we were to change the price, the unnecessary negativity it would cause within the community would be too far.

Then a better stance is allowing users to re-sell their ranks instead for a discount or the exact price.

It isn't scamming. Mick can set whatever price he wants, even if he does claim it isn't possible to make Supreme $15. If your not happy with the price, why did you buy it?
