Username to UUID

Does anyone know better API's then this one?

^ this one doesn't work anymore. You can't find the UUID of an old name which is gonna be available very soon for example.

You can't get the uuid of a "name", uuids are linked to the account, not the name.
My point... You can't get the uuid of a name, if the name isn't on any account.

I know it does, but I am trying to make functions which calculate over how long a name gets available.

Like:

He gets the UUID from the name "Chocolates" which you want, use the UUID to take changedToAt (JS TimeStamp from 1970/01/01) and then add 37 days to calculate when it is available.

You really shouldn't be making a sniper if you can't figure something like this out.
