If you upload an image to your signature, it works fine as long as you are using something like Imgur or Gyazo (those are the only ones I know that will work with images/gifs)

If you use a hyperlink, it breaks the image and shows this:

The link I used was just an MC-Market link so I am not sure why using an MCM link in the hyperlink breaks the image since the image works fine on itself without a link.

Would you mind providing us with the text/code you are using for your signature? It may help us figure out the issue.

This is how I hyperlink my signature.

Code:
[URL='https://www.mc-market.org/threads/599255/'][IMG]https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/661042060639600640/717076400682696734/OverPage-0.png[/IMG][/URL]

Is yours in that format?
URL then IMG inside. URL is specified with an equals to sign while img is nested in there.

You might have linked a proxied image (it contains https://proxy.mc-market.org/...)

Make sure you input a link that leads directly to the image.

This is a common issue if you copy the link from an image on the site instead of getting the URL.

Yeah, that was the issue. Why does the image itself work until you add a link to it though?

If a proxy URL was inserted into the BbCode, it should never work to prevent a request proxying the proxy proxying the proxy proxying the proxy...

It is probably because you saw it in the editor, thought it was working, added the link again, and suddenly it stopped working to make you think that. When rendered in the editor (not the editor's preview button though), your own browser requests the image and it never goes through our proxy. When posted or in the editor's preview page, it is proxied by us.

Alright, thank you. I completely forgot about it giving you a proxy link for images.
