Does anyone have any experience posting videos of their server on TikTok and other social platforms?

TikTok​

The reach on TikTok right now is crazy. The audience is primarily younger people, although it is starting to attract an older graphic. With the correct marketing strategy, and bringing value to people scrolling through their feed, I'm sure you could a lot of organic attention to your server.

I've seen maybe 1 or 2 servers actually do it correctly, where they don't focus as much on the server itself as they do telling a story that happened while on the server or the memories players have made. However, most of the servers advertising on there aren't doing it correctly. They just say "I started a Minecraft server, here are the features, here's the IP, come join" and they leave.


Once I get some experience posting on the platform, I'll be sure to post a guide for anyone that's interested.

I've executed multiple marketing campaigns on TikTok (not MC specifically). It's definitely a growing platform, and has extreme potential. However, as multiple high-tiered influencers on there have said, it most likely won't last long term. It's based primarily on trends, and everyone knows trends die out fast, once it reaches it's peak it'll fall quickly to a competitor.
