Underground minerals spawn like normal correct? its just a fancy surface / biomes?

If you're asking if we can make it so more ores spawn, Then yes we can do that. I don't really know what you're trying to ask.

Just to clear it up, we can make it vanilla spawn rate.

Nice prices for the terrain. I Would also suggest adding A few renders of terrain If you can along with some Pictures not with shaders, As they make it look more professional (the renders) and most normal players on MC cannot run / Do not have shaders so they will be viewing it in Vanilla.
