Vendor is currently hiring Typescript//Node.js developers to help us develop our e-commerce platform.
Vendor will be a licensed-based platform, where “we” (Vendor) will be providing a self-hosted e-commerce platform that is similar to something like Shoppy // Sellix - but the difference is that “you” (The Client) controls all the data stored, and that you host it.
INFORMATION | DEVELOPMENT
Your job will be coding and collaborating on the e-commerce platform and the dashboard. Both will be made in Typescript.
The dashboard is where the client will be able to purchase Vendor and download Vendor, and the e-commerce platform is the actual application/website, which the client will host on their server.
Development has already started on Vendor, and there is a small foundation - but we’re looking for 1-2 developers to help speed up the process and share ideas.
Requirements:
Able to communicate in English.
Basic understanding of Node.js.*
BONUS POINTS:
Basic understanding of Typescript.*
Basic understanding of ORM’s (Object Relational Mapping - examples include Sequelize, Prisma)*
Basic Understanding of MongoDB.*
*We’re not just going to throw you into the water and say goodbye, we will help you get accustomed to these new technologies if you’ve never used them before. You can, and you will learn along the way - and we hope that we will also learn some stuff from you! We all learn in different ways, so let us know how you learn.
We’re looking for keen developers to help us develop this. We’re not looking for expert developers in the field who have had years of experience - we’re looking for anyone who may have any merit to the team. You could be an expert or a beginner - it doesn’t matter.
All pay is negotiable and will be paid accordingly.
