Hey!

Would like to suggest a "Verified" tag for trades, middlemen or other positions.

In order to get this rank you would have to sign a agreement and provide identification proof to the MC-Market staff. If the person was under 18, their parents would have to sign the contract.

Using this method we would get a reliable base for middlemen etc, while eliminating the risk of exit scamming due to a legally binding contract with MC-Market and the person involved.

Please do not reply if you don't have any constructive feedback.

We really couldn't. We aren't the ones owed. The best we could do is sue for damages, but we'd be likely to lose and it wouldn't even be worth it for us. The legal fees alone would be thousands, if not tens of thousands of dollars.
Yup and you wouldn't stoop to the point of releasing doxes of people. You good sir have gained my respect ^^ Hats off to you.

I do really like the idea, and I do agree that we should have verified people. Although.. I don't think that this should be done by MC-Market. It's way too much of a risk.

Think of it this way, if a "verified" user scams someone then MC-Market would be liable for any costs/damages as a result of that.

We wouldn't be liable at all. But we still wouldn't be able to do more than we do right now.

We wouldn't be liable at all.

Under some jurisdictions, since you portray the user as reputable and trustworthy, you could be held partially or fully liable.

Then you should be held liable for using F&F. :(

What's the point in signing a contract with MCM;

- MCM isn't the person/entity you're doing business with
- MCM losses nor gains nothing if you scam
- You've already signed a form of contract stating that you won't scam - the rules when you registered.[DOUBLEPOST=1455876564,1455876460][/DOUBLEPOST]

Really like this idea, I think it should be implemented.

What exactly would the contract stipulate? And what meaning would their be behind the "Verified" tag?
If this does not get implemented, I have another suggestion for the "Verified" tag:

For business accounts, if it's a registered and trusted business they would gain the "Verified" tag.
