I think that there should be a "Verified" tag, and this is basically, whenever someone opens up a shop/business, a staff reviews it, and if they give out a VC, and they're legit they get "Verified", and this proves they're legit.
BUT You need requirements like :
-150 Ratings
-250 Messages
-No previous temp-bans

People will disagree for "Well people will get verified and then scam?". Well yes that's the case. But I got a solution. The tag displays on their name BUT you need to earn it. (This building on from the top part). To earn it, you need a decent amount of sales and vouches.

This would reduce the amount of scams. And if a scam report is opened, and the user has verified, it gets removed.

-Down below put what you think, and what should be added to reduce scammers. So people don't get verified and scam immediately.-

Ratings and Messages does not mean the guy has actual deals. Take for example Jurhed, he didn't really do anything. And he scammed like $600 (everyone previously thought he was trusted)

Staff should not be "Verifying" members.
This is very misleading, and there are many of those out there who might assume that they have staff's word that the person is trustworthy, and will not scam them, when this is not the case.
The only one who knows if a person will scam is that person. Sometimes not even that.
We don't want to be confusing members, nor opening ourselves up for blame should a "verified" member end up scamming.
