Hey, I'm a informatics MSc. student at the University of Bergen in Norway and have for the last six years (i.e. first quarter 2014) created various Minecraft Bukkit/Spigot/Paper/skript plugins. I mainly do this for for fun, so the prices I ask are very reasonable. But note that I no longer create skript scripts.

Prices

• Prices for large projects (50+ hours) will be a per hour deal, with a minimum wage of $5 USD.
  • You must agree to pay for the first 25 hours upfront when using this option.
• Prices for smaller projects (ie up to 50 hours) can be negotiated to be a single payment.
  • When using this option half of the agreed upon sum must be paid in advance.

• VR - A MMORPG where you can create custom quests, has skilltree, etc

• BukkitUtil - An open soruce utility library for spigot
• Annihilaton - Modified version of a open source version annihilation
• Tale Of Kingdoms Online - gamemode - (Remade from scratch in spigot, online version of the mod found here, yeah it's so old I had to link to wayback machine)
• Maze Mouse - A fun minigame
• Hardcore skyblock (HCS) - skyblock meets HCF (written in skript)

• HCSUtils - Addon written for the skript language for hardcore skyblock
• Feudalism - MMORPG written in skript, playable and available for download!
  • This is some real old code, not even written in java. However, it does how how long I've been doing this.

Heya, this reply is purely based off of constructive critisism and my opinion as a whole, so you do not have to take my word for it! To start off, I believe that offering services at such price points will be very difficult when you do not have a lot of rep, even with your experience. Unfortunately, since this is how MCM works, buyers do prioritize highly-repped people over anybody else, so I'd recommend you do small project work & gain some reputation beforehand (in terms of what you're doing, you'd need 15 rep or more), and then continue providing this service. Again, this is a mere opinion, more specifically my opinion. It'd be suggested to take my ideas as an example, but at the end of the day, up to you!

Ah thanks for the tips! I might have miscalculated the prices, as I stated, I just do this for fun . How much would you suggest I charge?

Honestly, I am not sure. Due to how low rep you have, If I were to make an estimation, I'd only discriminate you as a developer, since the standard payment would be really low for what you offer. If you really want me to, give or take, probably 10USD per project..? Again, simple estimation coming from somebody that sucks at it, heh.

Well small projects usually don't take a lot of time, maybe max 5 hours from what I've experienced back in 2018, thats $25 usd which is only a little more than what I got then.

At the end of the day, It really comes down to you. I'm no expert, so I cannot provide further pricing appraisals, would recommend you ask someone more expertized on that side of the market. Anyways, glws!

Yeah, I think I'll stay at this price point atm. Thanks for the information though!
