It also usually doesn't really matter what the tld is unless it's a very uncommon domain.
It depends if it has a meaning and is "cool" to use.

Yes I agree but a .us domain which can be purchased for .88$ then the other 29.12$ for the words vidcon? Doesn't make much sense to me from a investment standpoint but to each there own, i'll leave it at this before you call me out for trashing again.
