As the title states, I'm looking for a video editor that can help me with making videos for my youtube channel. The Ideal candidate would be someone with prior experience in making videos that have a strong plot/message and keep a viewer engaged all the way through. Experience in creating animations/doing anything unique and out of the box is great too. Being able to split scenes, add in jump cuts, J-cuts, L-cuts, action cutting, cross cutting other known as parallel editing, cutaways, montages, match cutting is also very important. Don't worry you're not expected to know all of those terms. Feel free to google them.
The reason as to why I'm looking for a editor is someone that can bring a fresh perspective to the task and bring a whole new burst of creativity. I'm personally really interested in keeping an audience engaged and making sure they watch all the way through the video. Whether its a more serious video, or a funny video. I set no limits, if you have idea that involves something that might push the limits or might make you uneasy such as making fun of me or something I'm doing for the purpose I'm all for it.
Communication is essential so being able to communicate with me effectively and within a timely manner is a must.
The type of content you'll be editing could very from a vlog, to editing gameplay, and or gambling videos. So experience in these videos are a must.
