Void Block Break/Place makes TPS drop

Hello!

I own a Skyblock server, and for some very strange reason, On random islands if they break/place a block over the void it can drop the TPS below 10 if they do it quickly. Anyone heard of this or knows how to possibly fix this issue?

It's probably a lighting calculation issue. Not really any fix to it other than to have a good spigot which handles light calculations differently.
