Hello, I am Sloth. I am the owner and founder of Curve.
What is Curve?
Curve is an all new radio station, built purely on the web. We aim to be a station which plays what our listeners want, all day- every day. Listeners can tune in via multiple methods, such as: Farming Simulator 19 (a popular simulation game), Discord (via the Curve Bot) and on our website (Coming Soon).
We were originally founded in 2019, but due to a lack of dedication and effort from the previous team, the station sadly had to close. During this time, we hit a peak listener count of 500- this was mainly sourced via the support of Farming Simulator 19 but then also alongside that, we had unique listeners tuned in via the website that we had back then.
We are now back, this time- out seeking a fresh team and we need your help. All of the positions at Curve are voluntary as we are purely community-based and all of our profits from things such as merch, or from our site shop (WIP)- all go back into communities and charities that are in need of donation. Nobody from the Curve team makes profit.
Although, we plan to have a reward system for the staff in the near future, such as if they complete one slot on the air- they achieve points which can then be later redeemed for community-funded prizes such as gift cards, site perks and more.
Why do we need your help?
We need your help because we can't run on our own. Last time Curve opened, but with a very limited team meaning that the Curve that we had once dreamt of- never came to be anything, and was purely a flop.
The roles that we are offering are nothing "demanding" of a sort, they all involve simple tasks and don't require you to be there all day, every day. The roles can involve things such as simple management tasks such as checking the Discord, moderating it and dealing with suggestions/reports etc.
