Hey there!

Hey there! I’m iDev, the owner of DuckyMC, a growing Minecraft community that’s all about fairness, creativity, and good vibes. We’re gearing up for the third release of our Skyblock realm in a few weeks, and we’d love to bring 1-2 more passionate developers/configurators onto our team to help us expand and refine the experience.

About DuckyMC

We launched four months ago, and since then, over 300 unique players have joined our server. What makes us different? We’re not pay to win. Everything in our store is obtainable in-game because we believe in fairness. Our goal is to build a welcoming community where players can relax, whether they’re grinding Skyblock or just hanging out in Discord. Right now, we offer Skyblock with a Lifesteal mode in development, but we’re keeping things focused. No plans to become a massive network, just a few high-quality gamemodes done right.

What We’re Looking For

We already have a solid team of three developers, including myself (I handle configs and custom plugins). For this season, we’re aiming for a fresh take on Skyblock, mixing the classic 2019-2021 nostalgia with modern touches like custom textures. If you love brainstorming unique features, refining mechanics, or just have a knack for making things feel fresh, we’d love your help!

Your role would involve:
  • Collaborating on Skyblock updates and future seasons
  • Helping design and configure features (no heavy coding required, but it’s a plus!)
  • Bringing creative ideas to the table, we want to stand out, not copy others
This is a volunteer position for now (we’re still growing), but as the server expands, we’re open to compensating team members for their contributions. Time commitment is flexible, a few hours a week is plenty, but we do ask for consistency.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a tight knit, friendly team
  • Help shape a server that values fairness and creativity
  • Work on a project with real growth potential

If this interests you, or you'd like to discuss it more please:
1. Join our discord server at https://discord.gg/2EETxSzeXX
2. Open up a General Support ticket with the reasoning "Developer Enquiry"
3. Please wait patiently for my response. I aim to have tickets responded to within 60 minutes.

A portfolio is highly recommended, even if it's only a small portfolio. This helps myself, and the other developers
see your previous work so we can get an understanding of your work better.
