This is the market for selling skided HCF cores. Except some decent developers like Mat or Eric who work as freelance devs and don't skid.

"except" not because you know those people who doesn't skid meaning they are the only good developers here who don't skid..

I think the main issue is that "developers" that are on this site aren't really real developers, just some people who can kind of use the Spigot API and learn as they go along.

They are not people that can program in Java.

There are only a few properly good ones that I've seen, however there are most likely a good few I have never seen before.

The reason why HCF cores are skidded is because coding them from scratch is time consuming they have a fuck load of features that need to be optimized well, and not many people actually have half the mathematical capability or logical capability for that matter in order to make a quality one. People are always surprised when I say $500+ no matter what for a HCF core (that's for a basic one), because the market is diluted with so many purely shit "coders" that steal and recycle eachother's code.

Same goes with Anti cheats and practice plugins, they are a lot tougher (especially anti cheats) to make from scratch, and all the good coders are taken and hired by people that will pay them right.

If you're on this thread and looking for "plugin ideas"

Please go back, read a book on Java, come back, and you will find out how easy it is to make the most "complex" of plugins. And you will be able to go freelance instead, not working for pennies. You will also find real life skills that are applicable to many similar programming languages such as C#.

Note: I also don't think encouraging low quality cores, practice plugins etc is the best thing to do, try encouraging people to read a book on java and not learn from YouTube tutorials.
This is the point I've been saying everytime a thread like this comes up. There are only a handful of people who can actually develop and will make a living out of it in the future.

Helping the community? It's more of a marketplace than a community, and if people want something, they'd ask for it in their own thread... We don't need a shitty thread with 2 different types of polls to see what people want.

Only 1 shitty poll btw.

What makes me mad is when people who have no programming knowledge try to put a price tag on my work.
