Vouch Button

I suggest we add a vouch button. OK, lots of people have suggested this, but they suggested to have it on the profile. I suggest that on certain forums where rep is needed (selling stuff og accounts, service etc) whenever you post a thread, there will be a little counter or something next to the thread which shows how many vouches it has, and users can obviously click a vouch button, I think this would be a good idea because it stops the first 6 pages being VOUCH VOUCH VOUCH VOUCH. so it clears "spam" and also allows potential buyers/sellers to see a nice clean and easy to see button saying "7 vouches"

Agreed. I thought of this lying in bed idk how long ago but never made a thread on it, glad that someone did. ( Also maybe some option where you can put text in your vouch ) http://prntscr.com/h2jh6s something like this except its connected and longer so it just shows text to the side.

The only problem I see coming from this is that if there is just a button saying how many vouches there are, there should be an option to be able to view it because if all the vouches are coming from not very reputable people or people who are very new it's not the same as if someone really reputable were to vouch.

It'd probably be added as a reaction button to the thread starter.

Those were denied because they were reactions, people would be getting their reactions way too high.

Exactly what Zack said. A vouch button won't solve problems. It'll become like a new "winner" button but it'll put more pressure on everyone that presses it. You click vouch and that person scams someone because of it, who's to blame? Obviously the people that spam vouch on threads. It's not gonna solve anything.

There are lots of stuff that could be done to combat that, maybe only 3 vouches a day etc. This is just a small idea that can be improved alot.

People would still click vouch on threads randomly. There's truly no point to even leave a vouch on someone's thread, people just do it for the meme.

Absolutely agree. 80% of people who post "vouch" or something similar are just post-farming, and it saturates meaningful replies and information on a thread.

The vouch button could be accessed by people with positive reputation or more than say 1 month since they joined (some kind of limitation a new user wouldn't pass) to removed the problem of farming/spamming
