Vouch Copies?

Hello, I have a question regarding Vouch Copies. So basically I have given 2 users with almost 100 reputation vouch copies of my factions setup and neither one has left a vouch both of them have said "I have not had a chance yet" and it has been over a week. Would this be considered a scam? Also one of the users I have sent the copy to has downloaded the file 17 times.. so I am guessing he is not only lying but also redistributing which is against my TOS. Would this be considered scamming on both of their parts?

Yes they've scammed you, a vouch is just like money. It builds your reputation, you did not receive what you did the project for which means it's a scam, the second part I don't understand.

Don't give them more time to do that, open scam reports immediately. Especially on the 2nd user.

That's not true. You cannot call it scam as no deal was made. Nobody is obliged to give you a vouch either. Just because you give someone something free does NOT mean they MUST give you a vouch.

Also, a vouch is not a form of payment or anything. I'm not sure where you got all that incorrect info from.

They are allowed to do that too unless you specifically told them not to.

I agree with the last part, but vouch copies are work in return for vouches for new members to build a reputaion, even if you didnt like it
you could state the disablilities the object had in the vouch, but it is a free copy for new members to build a rep

Your the owner of the site but I feel you are wrong when they asked for the initial product, they said their way of giving back was a vouch... When the initial user exclaimed he was going to vouch but was busy meant he liked the product.

So even if they don't like the product (not saying it's the case), they are supposed to vouch for the user? Yeah, that's not how it works.

the point of vouch copies is for users to receive a service to verify that 1) it is "legit", and 2) to verify/see the quality. You are not required to vouch just because you receive a free service, it'd be a lie. You'd literally be lying about a service to help that person sell.

That's besides the point. I'm just trying to clarify that vouches hold no monetary value.

Quite honestly I do not see the point in Vouch Copies then if the user is free to leave no feedback and no vouch. Why not just call it "free copy"

Because it's all based on trust.
If you take lots of vouch copies and never leave a vouch, why would anyone give you one?
Also, If someone gives me a vouch copy of terrible quality, why should I be required to vouch for them?

The system of vouches and vouch copies is not quantifiable and is quite complex, mostly because everyone judges for themselves.

Anyway, someone taking a vouch copy but not vouching for something that was good quality is not something I've ever seen happen.

I still stand by my point though, you SHOULD make a scam report on the 2nd user that redistributed it, it's pretty freaking obvious that you can't redistribute something that it's not yours lol.
