Tons of people here give away $0.10 Steam keys and ask for rep, and then scam out for a $4 for 4 at Wendy's. Who wants to go through all of that rep to see 1 or 2 vouches? There should be a seperate vouch button along with the rep that is below the reputation counter.

Like on many other competitor sites this is a well working system to seperate the rep-whores and the businessmen. To leave a vouch you must have a VALID SALES THREAD, and describe the deal that took place. This will cancel out all fake deals/vouches.

Of course, but you can see the sales thread and see if the deal is substantial, or just grinding for meaningless vouches, in which you can determine if they are legitimate or not.

ALWAYS USE A MM PEOPLE! Trust no one that persists you go first.
Thank you, this by no means will fix scammers, but it will help you spot out the legit from the rep grinders waiting to scam out.

You just contradicted your whole thread with this statement. You can see the reputations and see if the reputations are substantial or just grinding for meaningless reputation, in which you can determine if they are legitimate or not.

Will be much easier to see if all deal vouches are plainly listed out, and it will make sure all vouches are legitimate

Just like how all reputation should be legitimate?
How are you going to prove that the vouch is properly vouched?
Also pour lots of money into a new system that will clearly be flawed just like reputation?

There is obviously rep4rep, if you think all rep is legitimate you're crazy.
I'm 80% sure that there are many free mybb vouch plugins but I am not sure, or they could easily reuse the same assets as rep, but add a mandatory sales thread. I don't think cost is the problem.

You can see if the vouches are proper and legitimate due to there needing to be a valid sales thread

It'll get denied, but I agree.
"gr8 guy helped me" has no validity to someone's trust. I don't care if you have 200 rep, if it's all for 'nice guy' stuff, then it's not making me trust you anymore. This is a market forum, so obviously there should be some sort of way to see real vouches from buyers.

I made a suggestion prior pretty much saying; change 'Reputation' to 'Vouches', but this idea is a lot better imo, but oh well, won't be implemented.

Systems like this have been suggested countless times and denied each time. Having a way to track deals would be amazing, but it's not too possible and is prone to abuse.
