Well, I was wondering,
Since a lot of people don't want the "feedback trading" thing on mcm,
I was wondering if perhaps we could ads something different, maybe like a "vouches" tab under you profile?
I know there was a vouches sections for premiums a few months ago, but no-one used it, so I was wondering, maybe we could have a vouches tab in our profiles?
This would make it much easier for people to see our vouches and not have to go through our profile posts, which are not always vouches.
Also, it would be cool to have a way to implement the "vouches" in any threads you create.

Your profile is obviously the best choice for vouches right now.
It's always easy to access, specific to each member, and everybody has one. It's reliable.
Only I don't want to delete every post on my profile just so only my vouches are visible.
I like having a lively profile, and I like communicating publicly with others on it.
Still, I would love for people interested in my vouches to be able to know where to find them, and read them.
A vouch tab would be perfect for this.
It retains all the original benefits of profile post vouches, only separate and organized.
Some changes I would make...
I'd like to see this be more of a "Review" tab, than a "Vouch" tab.
I don't want to see a bunch of "Vouch +1"s, those are useless.
I want genuine reviews, with the positives AND the negatives.
Members should only be able to give one review per user.
They should be able to edit their past reviews, so they're not stuck with their first initial impression of the user.
Also....
Most importantly...
In order for it to have any value or meaning...
They need to be general reviews.
Staff have no way of verifying what vouches are legit from a deal, and what aren't.
We tried doing this with the last "Trade rating" thing, and it was an obvious failure.
Still, with the changes from ratings to reactions, and everyone promoting "Reactions aren't rep", we do need a reputation system.
What is rep?
reputation |ˌrepyəˈtāSHən| noun
the beliefs or opinions that are generally held about someone or something
So we need a system that will gauge the community's general beliefs or opinions on a person.
Reactions were being used for this before, but those are meant for individual posts.. It has flaws.
A general review system would perfect this.
I think we can all agree that the verbal reviews mean more than anything else you can get.
Every user has one opinion of another user.
They only get one opinion.
The entire community's collective opinion of a single user makes their reputation on this site.
If you are engaged in the community, if you're a big part of this site, you'll have a lot of reviews, a strong reputation.
In which direction? Positive or negative? Depends on how you affect each individual member.
If you have a lot of successful deals, you'll probably have a lot of positive reviews from those people.
If you go around trashing people and arguing and flaming, you'll probably have a lot of negative reviews.
This is an accurate measurement of the community's reaction to you, and your real reputation.
