Just got it. Do you think you can help me set up a minecraft server on it? I'm completely new to this.

With a panel, it can be harder for people to do.

And in my honest opinion, if you haven't done this before, you've already made a mistake by purchasing a VPS.
Expect to do a few hrs/days of research and setup depending on what OS you choose to use.

You need to secure your user account.
Secure network connections and close/open ports.
Install Java
Install a minecraft related management panel.

With a panel, it can be harder for people to do.

Move the server files in, change the ip in the config, turn it on!

I'm gonna point out one thing. OVH doesn't keep it online 24/7. Recent fiber line cuts bro.

Does anybody know how long OVH take to setup their VPS's? I still see VPS (0) in the control panel.

They take forever because they validate the billing by hand. Last 3 VPS I set up took like 5-6 hours. Was annoying AF.
