looking to buy many vps servers from a hosting company, must have at least:

- 1gbps + port speed

- unmetered bandwith

if you have below 1gbps port speed but still have unmetered bandwith then please let me know as i may still be interested.

To be honest with 10Gbps+ Ethernet it is quite easy to provision "truly" 1Gbps VMs. The deal breaker however that most consumers do not understand/want to understand that unmetered 1Gbps traffic is not cheap.

It easily costs a company ~$8,000 or so for a quality 10Gbps unmetered hook up. With that said it would take a VM company to have to price at $800/VM JUST for accounting for the speed and bandwidth. Oh yea that doesn't even consider that you can't actually push 10Gbps (I wouldn't be surprised if you can only get ~9Gbps) so for a VM that actually delivers that ~333TB/month your looking at LEAST $900-$1,000/month.

Could you pull this cheaper if you go and get a single non redundant 10Gbps over at Hurricane Electric/Comcast/Congent/etc budget carriers? Sure but you'll be paying for in degraded quality.
