In a lot of cases VPS will not have a sufficient CPU performance, so of the two shared hosting will usually be a better choice.

Hi,

if you just want a small minecraft server without a dedicated port and don't know about linux command line so you better go for a mc hosting.

but i prefer a KVM vps which gives you all ports opened also you get a full root control for installing any panel you want ex ( pterodactyl , multicraft , mcmyadmin, ..etc) and besides that you can also host a discord bot on it , host a website , host a vpn , change java version , you can host more than mc server on it and make a bungeecord , you can do anything

but at the end kvm vps shared network port and shared cpu the same like minecraft but you if you are willing to buy 32gb or 64gb of ram then you should go for a dedicated server that will give you full cores power and all the resources will be dedicated.

Hello,

There really isn't a cut and dry answer here. A VPS will outperform a shared hosting account with equivalent specifications, but not all VPS/shared hosting accounts are created equal. I suggest doing your research to find the best provider and solution to meet your needs.

Best of luck!
