aight boys

Basically, there's a ton of bot accounts on YouTube that are spamming "Wanna be friends?" or something similar on, like, every video ever. However, instead of just being the normal advertising scheme, many people that interact with these bot accounts are getting their Google accounts compromised. The reason why is currently unknown, but there's a few hypotheses about it, including the usage of malicious oAuth tokens (which is what I personally believe). To stay safe, it's rather simple; just go to myaccount.google.com and search "Third-party apps with account access". Remove any apps with Youtube access, and ideally, any apps you no longer use or that do not require access. Obviously this is just a theory, so this may not help anything. In my personal experience, I interacted with one of these comments (from the original channel) about a week back and I've had no issues, likely because I didn't have any accounts with Youtube oAuth access. Your luck may be worse, but this is at least worth a try. For a more in-depth explanation (and more good content), feel free to watch SomeOrdinaryGamer's video on it:

Good advice. Strange that this is a thing and that YouTube haven't sorted it out yet.

Having the comment isn't an issue, just delete it. Subscribing/replying seems to be the catalyst

More likely? Maybe. With the amount of people who've actually been compromised (or had other issues) to date, though, it's better to be safe than sorry, in my opinion.[DOUBLEPOST=1589810758][/DOUBLEPOST]P.S, there's multiple people doing this: Triby, Vakzy, Logan, Call, Fortly, Ted, Fortex, Music, etc. Some have been banned, some are still around (like Vakzy).

Just remove all third party access to your account and have a long ass random password that YOU MADE. The idea is that they are using third party tokens to get access to your account. Minecraft had the same issue with this a bit ago. How you cloud log into accounts that you didn’t own or even have the email too.

What if you ask them the same question back?

leafy legit subbed to the channel in one of his recent vids
Yeah, I saw. Assuming this theory is correct, then he'll be fine as long as he isn't using third-party Youtube/Google apps.
