Want new PC Specs (1k budget)

Hellow! I'm dropset and I'm pretty sure my computer parts are outdated.

These are my specs

- AMD FX-8320 8 core 3.50 GHz
-16 GBs of ram
- Radeon RX 480 graphics card

I have a 1k budget and I'm trying to spend the whole lot to improve the quality of my PC. Comment your suggestions, I really appreciate it.

a gtx 1050Ti isnt much but its pretty good for certain games, you could get a gtx 1060 for a bit more, your ram is fine, and i generally dont upgrade my cpu. I recommend a 1050Ti or 1060

Why is everyone telling him to get a 1050Ti/1060? He's just said he already has an RX 480 which is on par with a 1060 and more than capable of playing any game at high to ultra settings.

What you really need here is a platform upgrade, this being a new CPU, mobo and RAM. You can either go Coffee Lake or Ryzen, both have their advantages over the other. Obviously, this will require new RAM also as these only accept DDR4. Furthermore, if you do not already have an SSD, I recommend you add one to the upgrade (NVMe is preferred) and depending on the quality of the power supply you're using, that could be something. If it's a reputable brand such as Corsair, I wouldn't worry about it. I only say this in case you're running a cheaper PSU.
