Want to make a custom terrain

Hi I want to make a custom terrain, but I need some suggests for blocks and in all how to make it look nice. So if you could list some worldedit commands that will be useful aside from the //brush commands and so on. Things that will help me make mountains or Hills etc!

Not sure if you know that you can use multiple blocks in WorldEdit, for example:

//replace 1 1,1:3,1:5 will mix in some diorite and andesite with stone.

//replace 1 90%1,5%1:3,5%1:5 will mix in 5% diorite and 5% andesite with regular stone.

Pretty well known tip but arguably one of the greatest features in WE.

There are multiple world generators such as EpicWorldGenerator and Terrain Control that will generate entire worlds for you. They are most of the times highly customisable so you can change almost everything.

I did know that I can do //replace (item ID) however I was unaware you could type in a % rather than //replace stone,stone,stone,coal
