[WANTED] Voluntarily TreeGrounds Developers
Hello everyone! I’m Starfruit and I am the owner of TreeGrounds! It is an fantasy adventure server that has full of twists, mystery, and hidden secrets throughout its history.

I recently finished the storyline draft (Getting editors at the moment). Next thing I need is developers to make the storyline plugin. The story itself will be a couple hours long. There can be missions and quests in between the story or after/before it. I need the story to come to life, and this is where the devs come in.

This is a voluntarily position. I know there are devs who are willing to spend some time to help people in need of them. So I am trying to reach out to the ones who are willing to do this voluntarily. Not everyone is willing to do it for free, but there are some who are.

I heard that free devs are usually just temporary and leave after a few months. Paid ones stay longer. If I can’t find any devs that stay for a long time and have the free time, I will see if I can find paid devs.
If you know about how much the plugin can cost if it’s paid, let me know and I will consider paying in the future when I get more money. But for right now, it’s all voluntarily.

Requirements:
- You have to have experience for at least 1 year and know the code Java. I want to see you are really good on what you do, and in most cases people who have been doing it for a long time shows your dedication and skill.
- I need examples of your previous work so I can see how your plugins are like and how advanced they are.
- Spend at least 30 minutes every day if possible. Because this isn’t paid, I understand some may need to put their life first then the server. But I do want you to spend some time as much as you can so the storyline can be completely ready as soon as it can. If you can’t work on it for a few days, let me know and I will understand.
- Try to dedicate at least 6 months to the server. Even for half a year, it really means a lot to me and the server. Once the server booms, you’ll get what you deserve. But it will only happen if we work together.

Since this is voluntary, I'd recommend lowering the Java experience requirement. Developers who have at least one year of Java experience will most likely charge for their services. But, developers that are just starting with Java would be more attracted to your server. You'd be able to provide a mutual relationship with newer devs because they'd get work experience and you'd get free code.

Thanks for the suggestion. True, and I sometimes I find devs who have at least 1 year and still willing to work for free. It really all depends on them honestly. I don't have like a ton of trouble finding free devs with a good amount of experience, the main problem is about how long they are staying as staff for. That's all.

I may change the year experience if I have trouble finding more experienced devs in the future. Thanks!

Maybe you could try to "pay" them in other forms besides money. Many people who want to be part of a server are pretty power hungry so maybe you could fuel that hunger a little bit.

That might help keep some of your devs for longer.
