Hello,

I've recently just opened Iron Cloud so I thought I'd have a look at getting a couple of youtubers so I came on here, and commented on a couple of threads etc etc. A day later I get someone claiming to be NicsterV (https://www.youtube.com/user/NicsterV), so i go through the process with him, then before I pay, I ask for proof, he then tells me he doesn't have access to the about page (I asked him just to just Iron Cloud at the bottom temporarily), shown here:

And now I have someone telling me that they're TheHyperCraft (https://www.youtube.com/user/TheHyperCraftt) so i ask for proof, he sends me this:

look at that email address compared to what is in TheHyperCraft's about page:

Basically I'm here to warn you that there's a lot of scammers so be careful and make sure you check for proof!

Laughed my butt off for the "TheHyperCraft" one. xD "[email protected]" So obvious.. Maybe a typo? ;)

Hey guys LukeMC here, I actually just sadly fell for this :/ luckily I wasn't scammed that much money the amount will be disclosed. The name that I was scammed by was going by the false alias of TheHyperCraft_ on skype. Just letting you guys know please be careful out there while you are searching for advertisement opportunities!

What the hell.. I already pointed it out.. *facepalm* Why did you still mess with someone named "HyperCraft?" Next time, ask him to put "Hey LukeMC" into the description or even comment it onto a video. Do that for ALL YouTubers.. And make sure he doesn't screenshot for you, but actually links the video. Why? Inspect Element trick.

Take him to this thread if you like and tell him to buy a $5 mic if he can afford it, and actually make his own YouTube and stop being a **** :D

can you explain something to me please. may try to scam me, but they ask for the payment through paypal. isn't paypal safe and if not how do they get the money without putting their bank account or creditcard info in?

Your money stays on the account, so when sites ask to pay with Paypal you pay them from your online balance

PayPal doesn't always go in your favour and it's better not to risk it, he also wanted me to play Family and Friends I think.
