[WARNING] A note to people wanting youtubers!

Hello,

I've recently just opened Iron Cloud so I thought I'd have a look at getting a couple of youtubers so I came on here, and commented on a couple of threads etc etc. A day later I get someone claiming to be NicsterV (https://www.youtube.com/user/NicsterV), so i go through the process with him, then before I pay, I ask for proof, he then tells me he doesn't have access to the about page (I asked him just to just Iron Cloud at the bottom temporarily), shown here:

And now I have someone telling me that they're TheHyperCraft (https://www.youtube.com/user/TheHyperCraftt) so i ask for proof, he sends me this:

look at that email address compared to what is in TheHyperCraft's about page:

Basically I'm here to warn you that there's a lot of scammers so be careful and make sure you check for proof!

Surely if you're dealing with a YouTuber you should talk to them on skype? As in voice call or face? it should be fairly easy to see if they are who they are? If they refuse to do it then don't bother, surely just a quick check is all that is needed.

However I've never gone about hiring a youtuber so I don't know.

What if the YouTuber had a Manager? That's what i am for someone. You don't really speak to the YouTuber till a couple hours/day before they record on your server. Dont hold me on this but that's the way we work.
